lesson 1: Enneagram history & the heart triad
Let's delve into the basics of the Enneagram and then explore the three heart types. In this lesson, you'll watch an introductory video with Dr. Carrie Starr, take an Enneagram assessment, read and reflect on Scripture, watch an interview with Dayo Ajankau, and discover a unique Enneagram podcast featuring the creation of an original song for each type. You can do this work all in one sitting, or spread the work out over multiple days. Try to complete all material in this lesson before beginning Week Two.

Type 2: The Befriender
Twos are empathetic, sincere, and warm-hearted. They are friendly, generous, and self-sacrificing. They can slip into doing for others in order to be needed.
Key Motivation: they want to be loved, needed and appreciated.
Type 3: The Achiever
Threes are self-assured, attractive, and charming. Ambitious, competent & energetic, they can also be status-conscious & driven for achievement.
Key Motivation: they want to be affirmed, be admired, and impress others
Type 4: The Individualist
Fours are self-aware, sensitive, and reserved. They are emotionally honest, creative and personal, but can be moody and self-conscious.
Key Motivation: they want to be unique, special, and express their individuality
